For many of our clients, Robert is the adviser they'll speak with most often over the years. That's because while Sarah is typically focused on helping new clients and developing strategies, Rob loves building long-term relationships and helping clients stay on track as life evolves.

Having lived and worked throughout South East Queensland, as well as spending time overseas in Europe, Rob brings both life experience and a practical perspective to financial planning. As a husband and father of two boys, he understands firsthand the competing demands families face every day, from mortgages and school fees to planning for the future while trying to enjoy the present.

Rob's passion lies in helping clients understand not only where they are today, but where they're heading and how to get there. He enjoys taking complex financial concepts and breaking them down into straightforward, practical conversations that help clients feel informed and confident in their decisions.

Where Sarah loves strategy and seeing the big picture, Rob loves diving into the detail. He has a genuine interest in investment markets, economic trends, portfolio construction and research, and enjoys analysing the finer points that can contribute to a client's long-term success. Together, this creates a strong balance for clients, combining big-picture strategic thinking with detailed implementation and ongoing review.

One of the reasons clients enjoy working with Rob is simple: he genuinely enjoys a chat. He takes the time to get to know people, understand what's important to them and build lasting relationships based on trust. Many of Scenic Rim Financial Planning's ongoing clients work closely with Rob throughout their financial journey, knowing they have someone who is always looking out for their best interests and helping them stay focused on their goals.

Outside of work, Rob is an active volunteer with the Birnam Rural Fire Brigade in the Scenic Rim, giving back to the local community and supporting residents when they need it most. His commitment to helping others extends well beyond financial advice and reflects the values he brings to his client relationships every day.

As brother and sister, Rob and Sarah have worked together for more than 12 years. Their different strengths complement each other exceptionally well, but they share one thing in common: both have a genuine personal investment in ensuring every client receives the highest level of care and service.
